i used to do it because i liked to doodle on my free time, and that i liked having something tangible i could show off, as of apposed to just numbers (101010101010) in a game.
now im doing it for a grade and im not liking it much at all, i must admit its gotten me to work with many different mediums now instead of just pencil and computer. but i don't ever get the chance to just doodle for the hell of it, its all ways got some crappy structure to it that ive got to meet.
so is this the total of people that actually care about me? i know ive been off for a long time but seriously? i try my darnedest to comment on other peoples stuff.
During those years I would also accurately repaint some of the popular paintings by the popular artist's of the day (Boris Vallejo, Frank Frazetta, and etc.) Aaaaaaand that was all done in the REAL world with REAL materials, not computer...............LOL!
Anyway, in the years since I have attended art school, sold paintings in galleries all over America, have been a college professor and have been both praised, ignored, and even scoffed at by the best (and worst) of humanity. Even during those times when asswhipes hate me and ignore me, I still find my own inspirations for creating art.
Well, that may be a bit more than you asked for, but it is my life in a very small nutshell, I have often threatened to write a book, but alas I think the world already has enough horror stories!
Take care, and I hope you feel better soon!
Remain true to yourself always!
